slide1This is a cute amigurumi rabbit or bunny which is quite easy to make if you are interested in crochet. Takes about, total of 6 hours to make. I have used 8 ply 100% Acrylic yarns for this project and a 4mm hook to make the pink rabbit and a 3.5 mm hook to make the white rabbit. As you can see the sizes will differ according to the hook used, i.e about 14 cm for the pink rabbit and 12 cm for the white rabbit.

You will require:

  1. 2 different colored yarns which compliment each otherslide3
  2. 4 or 3.5 mm crochet hooksslide4
  3. Crochet needle
  4. Scissors
  5. Stitch marker
  6. Stuffing of fiber or leftover yarn

How to make the Rabbit:

You can download the full pattern for this project, which I have simplified with stitch count and round count charts  here: amigurumi-rabbit(pdf file)

You will have to make the parts of the rabbit separately and joined them together.

I have taken the idea for this project from happyberry.co.uk, she has very good patterns on how to make different amigurumi dolls. The youtube links for the project are as below:
