My twins love short hair; it’s not only trendy but practical. With all their school work, hobbies, sports and classes they don’t want another responsibility of managing their hair. So we have a salon trip every 2-3 months. There was a time when they were toddlers, they used to freak out on the mention of a ‘haircut’, but now they love trying out new haircuts. The most boring part of visiting a salon is the ‘waiting’ while the other twin finishes her haircut. In February this year (thankfully before the corona lockdown) we tried “DIVAS AND DUDES” in Royal Heritage Mall in Undri, Pune.
Divas & Dudes is an exclusive Salon & Spa place in Pune for children. It is a very spacious salon, with soothing pastel colour interiors, neat and well maintained. They cater to the age group from new born to teens.
Kids can choose to sit in a car styling chair or big kid chair, watch videos or just sit back and relax while having their hair done. The whole salon has different areas where the kids can enjoy reading, playing with toys, colour or paint, enjoy making a stuffed toy at ‘Build a Buddy’ studio and a Creation station where they can make their own Soap, Lotion, Lip balm or Slime. There is a section where they can get a manicure and a pedicure, which the twins are planning for our next visit (whenever it will be!).
The staff is very kind, courteous and friendly. The hairdresser who did my twins’ hair was very skilled, patient, gentle and friendly. Both the girls had a pixie cut with looked extremely chic and cute. The owner of the salon is a very cordial lady, warm, delightful and kind. She personally had the ‘make a soap session’ with my twin. The staff came up with lots of ideas to keep both my twins entertained.
As I have mentioned the whole salon was well maintained, hygienic and clean. There was a helper who continuously helped my kids with the toys and keeping them back in place.
Divas and Dudes is also a birthday party destination for kids – with different themes to choose from.
I think with the services provided the salon is budget friendly and moreover the pitures speak for themselves. I highly recommend it!
