Baby BibFeeding a single baby is in itself a  herculean task no doubt and when it comes to feeding twins, we  are at our wits end to find the most practical and easy way to feed them. Not long time back, I had written an article on my blog “Weaning & Feeding in Twin Babies: My personal experience” in which I had mentioned some ideas which can be tried to have a hassle free meal. One of the important part of the meal is a “baby bib”. Weaning is no doubt one of the major milestones in the growth of a baby, and hence it is natural for the mother to be apprehensive and anxious about it. Weaning in twins is no different than that of a single baby except the time and patience required is doubled. Weaning is a very slow process and requires a lot of patience. In this article I have focused on how you can manage the feeding of both the twins efficiently.
There are many sites which emphasize on finger foods and making a it a habit, so that the babies can have food on their own. But in my experience, weaning in twins and even for that matter feeding twins is a time consuming process, wherein each feed requires about an hour and hence more concentration should be given on the amount of food and nutrition a baby is really consuming. Jaggery versus Sugar : Why is Jaggery better than Sugar in baby’s diet

I have always preferred jaggery over sugar for various benefits jaggery provides in terms of nutrition. Although both jaggery and sugar are obtained from the same sources, they are much different in their properties and benefits. I totally avoided sugar in the twin’s diet for the first year with minimum amount thereafter and solely the used jaggery for the sweet flavours. Most paediatricians recommend not adding sugar to your child’s food in her first year of life.
